COURSE SUMMARY

The Programme can be summarised as follows:

- Pre-entry Assessment

- Funding Advice

- Payment: the full course cost is not required to be paid up front

- Course spread over 56 weeks

- You will be training at Cranfield University Airport and experience a true University Campus atmosphere - conducive to an excellent learning environment.

- Ground School spread over four more easily manageable phases. Some FTOs structure it over two phases which can be quite stressful. The pass rates are very high.

- Revolutionary new teaching platform: Every Integrated student receives an iPad2 with course content on. Fully media-rich interactive with animations, 2d and 3d graphics.

Loss of Training Insurance

Cabair recommend that any student following the integrated course, should take out this policy. If for any medical reason the student is not able to complete training, the insurance will pay for the entire cost of training and expenses.

Proposals are made on an individual basis, but premiums are usually around £150 for the 62 week course.

Once a Commercial Licence has been issued, 'Loss of Training Insurance' can be changed to 'Loss of Licence Insurance', which again covers any medical condition that would result in the removal of Class 1 medcial status, and therefore loss of the Commerical Licence.

Note that once employment has been gained, the airline will take over the cost of this insurance.

Details of this insurance are sent out as part of the course registratrion process. be sure to ask for details earlier if you are interested.
